MOPPETS Guidelines

Our MOPPETS program provides care for children ages birth through kindergarten. While the mothers attend the meeting, the children enjoy a program designed to meet their needs. The children are divided into age groups and are involved in activities that include singing, stories, games and crafts.

Children will find ...

  • Social growth through group activities and play
  • Spiritual growth through Bible stories and values relevant to their lives.
  • Physical, emotional and creative development through crafts, games, snacks and songs.

MOPPETS (Childcare) Policies

These are put into place to protect the health of all of our children so please follow these! If your child has any of the following, they should not be brought to MOPPETS:

MOPS Heart Bullet

had a fever (even if you think it is from teething)

MOPS Heart Bullet

diarrhea or vomiting in the last 24 hours

MOPS Heart Bullet

has an unknown or contagious rash

MOPS Heart Bullet

has green/yellow mucus coming from the nose or mouth (via coughing)

MOPS Heart Bullet

has any other communicable disease 

 

Moppets is for well children, so please be considerate in carrying out the Moppet policies.

Also, remember that we are a peanut free area so we’ll provide snacks for the children. 


In order to make sure all our MOPPETs are taken care of, we have a waiting list. If you invite a friend, please call ahead to see if childare is available. Call Northside Baptist Church at 229.244.4940.

Momma's Special Memories
We have a section in our printed newsletter that shares our MOPS mom's touching, funny or special memories about our little ones. If you have a story to share, e-mail your story and picture to Jennifer Poyer and we can add your story to the newsletter!
